Evan

Well my baby boy is a graduate. Evan Graduated from Kindergarten on Thursday. All his brothers got to go and watch. I cried. It was hard standing next to Riley and thinking in three short years he will be doing this for real. They grow up so fast it seems like just yesterday I graduated from High school. Now I have kids and they are growing up so fast. I don't like it one bit. They sang a song called alphabet rock, Riley sang that same song when he graduated and then Mom told me that Kisha and Lindsey sang that song when they graduated. Isn't that funny.

Track Meet

Nolan had his track meet on Monday. He did awesome!!! He competed in the softball throw and got third place. He was in the 100 meter relay and his team got 2nd place!! Then he was in the 50 meter run and he got 2nd in it also!! I was so proud of him. He did a great job even thought he was very nervous. I think he had a lot of fun and we heard several of his classmates talking about him. It was a big surprise to me because he didn't get that from me.

Saturday Night

We had a get together last Saturday when Kisha and her family came down for the weekend. We invited several people to come over and eat, swim and play games. We really had a lot of fun.

Graduation

Evan's Kindergaden graduation will be on May 28th for anyone who would like to come watch him. It will be starting at 10:00 that morning. Let me know if you will be there so I can watch for you and we can sit together.

More Games

Well the boys both had games last night. Caleb's team won there's 10-9. Caleb got to try and bunt because he was the only one at practce who did it good enough. He didn't get a hit but bunting is hard. They had last bat and did not take it because they were winning. I thought that was good sportsmanship. Nolan's team lost 6-5. They played hard and really did a great job. It was an exciting game to watch with some really great plays. Nolan got 2 hits but was thrown out at first both times.I was really proud of him for hitting it. I know he will just get better with every hit.

Awards

Caleb recieved 2 awards at school on Thursday, and me like normal forgot my camera. He got an art award for being an exelent art student and the academic award for having an A average all year long. I am so proud of him. He really enjoys school and has had such a good teacher this year.

games

The boys both won their games tonight. They did great, and thank goodness for Grandy being there to help with the William boy. He really hates being there for very long. He wants to be down playing.

Evan

Evan had his end of the year Program on Friday. It was really cute. It is the same program that Bobby, Riley and Jack all did. I was definatly a beaming mom

Baseball

Well it is here. Baseball season. The boys started their games last weekend. They both have played 4 games and only lost one of them. They really have good coaches and seem to be having fun. Riley loves it, he gets to help at Nolan's practices every now and then. It is great being able to watch the boys practice here at home together. This is their schedules.

Mother's Day

What a blessed day. This has probably been my best mothers day yet. I got breakfast in bed and my gifts then. Nolan gave me a wonderful gift, his autobiography. within the first 2 lines of the first page I was crying so much I couldn't read anymore. I loved it. Caleb gave me a planted flower and Evan drew me a picture. Richard gave me some jewlery. I really had a great day.

TOOTH

We have a tooth!! William finally got his first tooth this week. It only took 8 months to get it. I am glad he went this long now for the real biting.

pinewood derby

Caleb had his pinewood derby last Friday. He got 4th place and had a lot of fun. He had the biggest cheering section because all of Richards siblings and cousins showed up at the church there in Alpine. It was a great surprise when they all walked into the church.

Granny

Well since the last time I blogged Richard's Granny got sick and ended up passing away. We went to the funeral last Friday. It was a nice service and it was nice to get to see all the family. After the services we went back to Leman and Kays and spent time just catching up with everyone. It was a good day. We will miss Granny but everyone is glad that she didn't suffer any more. She had 89 wonderful years. We really wore William out. I am going to have to get one of those swings!!
